Mobility Equipment
DC Shares, a durable medical equipment recycling program, offers free mobility equipment for qualifying DC residents in need of equipment to assist with their daily mobility needs. The program both provides and accepts used mobility equipment, such as wheelchairs, walkers, canes, etc. DC Shares is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Proof of DC residency is required at the time of pick up. Curbside pickup or drop off by appointment only. Please contact DC Shares for more information to see if you qualify.
